Jakarta – PKPU along with the Indonesian Humanitarian Alliance met the Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on Thursday (5/1). It is done to conduct humanitarian aid mission for Myanmar, which is called Indonesia Aid.
“Indonesia Aid is collaboration between the Indonesian government and people in humanitarian aid for Rohingya/ Rakhine conflict in Myanmar.”
“NGO mission (Indonesia Aid) with the government is helping peace and reconciliation of two disputing communities in Myanmar through humanitarian aid,” PKPU Program Director, Tomy Hendrajati who is also the spokesman in the meeting, said.
In this meeting, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, was accompanied by Director General for Asia Pacific and Africa Affairs, Desra Percaya and Inter-institutional Relations Staff including for foreign aid affairs for Myanmar, Salman Alfarisi.
